There are a large number of vibration problems in the modern mechanicalengineering and structural engineering, testing and analysis is the key to solve thesevibration problems, but when tested, the instruments are variety and not easy to transport,it results that the process requires a large amount of manpower, financial and materialresources. In the United States, National Instruments Corporation in1986put forward theconcept of virtual instrument. with the development of computer technology, virtualinstrument technology also change rapidly. virtual instrument technology is graduallyinstead of the traditional instrument, becoming the development direction of the field testinstrument based on virtual instrument technology, measurement and analysis of vibrationsignal to achieve also is inevitable trend.Thus, the virtual instrument technology and vibration testing technology, personalcomputer for processing signals to the main tool, LabVIEW as the development platform,coupled with appropriate sensors, signal conditioning instrument and data acquisition card,designed and developed for the vibration signal testing and analyzing the virtual vibrationmeasurement instrument, with the reduced in the process of testing hardware equipment atthe same time the measured vibration signal acquisition and analysis function. Whether inpractical engineering measurement process or in college laboratory teaching application,can greatly reduce the cost of testing hardware.Virtual vibration measurement instrument data acquisition parts for single channeland double channel, each module has oscilloscope, signal acquisition parameteradjustment, signal processing and analysis, frequency domain analysis, and each modulecan complete the vibration parameters real-time measuring and data preservation, but eachpart has its own characteristics, single channel module can be completed in singlefrequency measurement and transient characteristic testing, signal level data measurement,signal parameter statistical data as well as a single signal spectrum analysis; dual channelmode focuses on the two channel spectrum analysis, such as the cross power spectrumanalysis. The two modules accord to the needs of users and computer performance freeimprovement, in the absence of data acquisition equipment situation, you can start the oscilloscope demo module, in order to theory research. After experimental verification, thedesign of the vibration measurement instrument can meet the engineering measurementand experiment teaching requirements, and has the advantages of simple operation, goodexpansibility, low cost, in engineering or experimental teaching can be used as theanalysis tool.
