Urban cadastral database is the final result of the second national land survey. Compared to the traditional database, urban cadastral database has a higher request to content and building standards. In order to build a high-quality database instantly, the paper gives an appropriate platform and a reliable technical route. And focusing on the key problem, it introduces how to process massive data, how to do a good job of data quality control, and how to evaluate database results.Firstly this paper introduces the theory of building cadastral database in the second national land survey. Secondly, the platform is determined by comparing with the common database building platform. Finally, the technical route is made. For the data processing, this paper points out batch data processing methods as follows: (1) parcel land maps printed from leaflet to batch; (2) the transformation of mapping LU polygon method from surface to line; (3) batch conversion of scan file instead of human edit. These methods break the traditional ways and improve the speed of massive data processing. The paper came up with process control about data quality, made a study of content and methods on data quality in terms of data source, data conversion and data input, as well as modeled defect evaluation based on weighted average, which can evaluate database results effectively. The theory, method, and technology are applied to the program of Hanshou, and the urban cadastral database is up to the national standard. The results showed that the methods of batch data processing and process control of data quality are feasible.
