The Realism Of Scientific Instruments Construction

In traditional epistemology, scientific apparatus is considered as bridge between communication subject and objective world. Scientific apparatus is tool used in understanding objective world. This view is correct in understanding scientific apparatus before the birth of neoteric science. Howerver, with our greater dependence of modern science on scientific apparatus and our deeper understanding in scientific research action, the above view is challenged by social construction program, technology criticism, technology phenomenalism and practice of using scientific apparatus.This paper outlines the general view on scientific apparatus changed from instrumentism and constructionism. Considering the important role of scientific apparatus played in modern scientific research action, based on Popper's objective knowledge theory and Hacking's experimental realism and using the methods of comparative analysis, case study and others, the current paper studies the micro mechanism of apparatus realism and the theoretical model of scientific knowing action based on realism and qualitatively analyzes the transitional mechanism of the subjective position of scientific apparatus. The author tries to certify the autocephaly independency of scientific apparatus in scientific knowing action, proposes that scientific apparatus is not only a static observing tool, but a dynamic tool of intervening. And scientific apparatus not only represents the scientific object, but constructs the scientific object.
