Multi-dimensional auto-detection platform form is the main equipment of meteorological radiometer (Solar Radiation Table) detection system. Weather radiation detection system is composed of the solar simulator and the multi-dimensional automatic detection platform. The position and attitude of multi-dimensional automatic detection platform to the total radiation surface are adjusted to received sunlight radiation from solar simulator at different locations, thus the measurement of indoor sensitivity, nonlinearity, cosine response error, the azimuth response error, tilt error and other properties are achieved.The overall structure of the multi-dimensional automatic detection platform for meteorological radiometer is designed in this paper. The composition and working principle of the detection platform is also introduced, focusing on the design and analysis of the rotary table, elevator, pitch, agencies and institutions of the arm rotation for the automatic detection platform. Research has been done using the computer to automatically detect the platform movement control, and Lab VIEW has been used to design the computer control interface. Motion control card for the motor, stepper motor drive and optical encode are used to realize the control and real-time monitoring of the stepper motor. Automatic control of the four degrees of freedom, position of (0°~360°), pitch (0°~90°), rotation and lift (0~35mm) have been achieved.
