Ground-based meteorological microwave radiometer can be used to get the weather information on the middle and small scaled area,which is technically one type of available complement.As a core part of the radiometer system,the measurement and control system undertakes tasks including the control of receivers,ground-based sensors and temperaturemaintained device,the monitor of supplies,and the communication with computers as well.First of all,based on the theory of meteorological microwave radiometer,the essay discusses about different system schemes and finally ensures the software and hardware architecture,in which serves ARM as the main controller and FPGA as an assistant,and uses ?C?OS-? operating system in the software platform.The architecture is designed to adapt to the multi-peripheral radiometer that has 16 channels of voltage output.Secondly,after considering the hardware design command,make design for communication interface circuit,and external circuits of ARM and FPGA.Among the design,peripheral circuit of FPGA is mainly two AD7768 chips which take a synchronous sample and output voltage to FPGA.Sending voltage to ARM by serial port in specific data format,FPGA makes the measurement of receivers' voltage much more efficient.Thirdly,under the requirements of software functions,the system software is designed from bottom to top,which includes bootloader,driver,FPGA software,operating system and applications.The use of ?C?OS-? amplifies time distribution and enhances the stability of the software.In the end,implement the hardware and software,debug the circuits and program to find out errors,and then make somes test for various units and the whole system.The results of the tests show us that our system had realized every measurement and control function,and fulfilled all the demands stably.Besides,in the mode of self-diagnosis or measurement,the system can collect one group of data that is from receivers,sensors and any other peripherals in about 1 second time.Therefore,the connected computer can receive one complete data package per second,which provides the time resolution of about 1 second.
