Study On Chinese Natural Dialectics Development Situation From 1956 To 1966

Dialectics of nature is a discipline, founded by Engels. As an important part of Marxism theory system, it was introduced into China in the early 1930s, and gained wide influence. In recent years, with the strengthened exchange with foreign academia, the dialectics of nature's research vision enlarges, and its research paradigm has become more and more difficult to summarize. In order to grasp the essential connotation of dialectics of nature, it is necessary to seek ideas from the history of dialectics of nature. From 1956 to 1966, is a period when Chinese dialectics of nature discipline formed. It is a connecting stage in the history of dialectics of nature. Studying on this stage specially, can provide important enlightenment for the seeking the normative paradigm of the contemporary dialectics of nature.This article uses the method of quantitative analysis to analyze 1212 articles in dialectics of nature, which were published from 1956 to 1966, expecting to grasp the changing situation of every year, the research focuses, and the distribution of authors in the research of dialectics of nature. Thus the whole picture of dialectics of nature in this period can be recognized more distinctly.Chapter I states the importance of Chinese natural dialectics from 1956 to 1966, clears the forming and developing thread of Chinese natural dialectics, investigates the four developing phases:including preparation period, foundation period, tortuous development period, and adjusting period, and reveals the particularity of the development of natural dialectics from 1956 to 1966.Chapter II uses the method of quantitative analysis to analyze the development of dialectics of nature from 1956 to 1966. Based on massive primitive literature, firstly, investigates the changing situation of the research in every year, and reveals two peak years and two low years. Secondly, discusses the research topic of the dialectics of nature in this period. At last, it analyzes the author group by the method of quantitative analysis, this analysis including the study situation of domestic scholars and foreign scholars. By systematic analysis, explores the basic law of Chinese natural dialectics from 1956 to 1966.Chapter III abstracts the features of the dialectics of nature research of this period. The features mainly display in the following four aspects:first, the research activity is influenced by political movement. Second, this research is interactive with production practice. Third, the research of dialectics of nature has a broad coalition in authors. Four, this research has the feature of "serving the nation". This part states these features and analyzes their reasons.Chapter IV discusses the contemporary value of the dialectics of nature research from 1956 to 1966. Clarifies the significance of separating political issue and academic matters and indicates the importance of keeping the independence of academic research.
