Successful Commercial Microfinance Model At Home And Abroad, Case Studies

Sustainable Microfinance has rapidly developed and achieved remarkable accomplishment since 90's in all over the world. It's always proved to be, as an institutional innovation of financing, a highly effective tool for poverty alleviation. However, sustainable microfinance in China is just at the beginning stage, the slow down of sustainable microfinance system in China made it probably the only developing country without a formal sustainable microfinance institution. Therefore, this article mainly focuses on the successful sustainable microfinance case, and point out the sustainable microfinance is a trend for China to establish its microfinance system.This article starts from the description of the concept of microfinance and sustainable microfinance,followed with the analysis of successful case and list the accomplishments of sustainable and profitable growth and alleviate the poverty. Based on above analysis, we summarized and concluded the major successful factors, which include policy and regulatory support from government, the design of interest rate, the coverage of microfinance and etc. finally we proposed solutions on two major elements which need to be improved for establish microfinance system in China. That's how to introduce foreign capital and how to establish insurance system for microfinance market. This will have a positive impact for establishing the sustainable microfinance system in China.
