Zhengzhou City, A New Road To Industrialization Research

Industrialization is an unavoidable historical process that any modern country must go through. Developed countries bring along upgrading of tertiary industry through high-degree industrialization so to complete the process of modernization. The 16^th National People's Congress of the party put forward the new industrialization. It is an important innovation of the theory and practice, based on the summary of the experience and lessons of the traditionally industrialized road, based on the careful examination of the economic development trend. It is, therefore, necessary to persist in using IT to propel industrialization, which will, in turn, stimulate IT application, blazing a new trail to industrialization featuring high scientific and technological content, good economic returns, low resources consumption, little environmental pollution and a full display of advantages in human resources. Being the capital of Henan province, Zhengzhou's industry has been playing an important role in its national economy. Whether we could realize leapfrog development of industrial economy. Whether we could take the strategic chance and realize leapfrog development of industrial economy are key to a success in completing industry process and realizing modernizations.This paper demonstrates some theoretic issues related with industrialization, recalls industrialization of developed countries and China's industrialization process, reveals historical inevitability that zhenghzou embarks on the road of new type industrialization, the conception and relevant theories of industrialization are illustrated in the first part. The development status of industries in zhengzhou is described, and the progress of industrialization in zhengzhou was analyzed in the second part. Then the conclusion is drawn, that is, zhengzhou is in the period of both completing traditional industrialization and propelling industrial modernization. The gross programming and thought of road to industrialization in zhengzhou is stated in the third part, the policies of realizing road to industrialization in zhengzhou are illustrated in the fourth part, that is, development the new technology, adjustment the industrial structure and so on. The writer hopes that it could be of some help in decision making for the government and promote the move towards a new type industrialization road.
