Study Of Zhengzhou Industrial Agglomeration Areas Development Issues

Industry agglomeration is not a new topic. Since it is related with subjects like economic, management and so on, researchers are enthusiastic with it. As a field of industry agglomeration, industry agglomeration area has gained widely attentions in recent years. Zhengzhou is in the middle of China, and its industry agglomeration has significant space for development, the challenge is huge at the same time.Under this background, this paper begins with introducing famous research results for industry agglomeration, then it analysis related theories of industry agglomeration. Basing on this, the paper introduces the development situation of industry agglomeration in Zhengzhou. In 2005,30 industry agglomeration areas in Zhengzhou have a increase of 572.93. It is 910.8 in 2009. It takes 7% in the whole province. From 2009 to 2011, the agglomeration degree of Zhengzhou increases from0.42 to 0.48. It proves that Zhengzhou industry agglomeration is growing.11 industry agglomeration enterprises are 3.76% of all enterprises of the city, but the industrial added value takes 1/3. It is clear that the economic benefits of industry agglomeration area are important. At the same time, the industry agglomeration area faces many problems like poor development idea, shortage of land and money, shortage of infrastructure development, poor environment and so on.There are many factors restricting the development of industry agglomeration area. Because the understanding and support of government for industry agglomeration areas are not sufficient, many areas do not have reasonable spatial arrangement, and there is no standard system for the development of enterprises in the area. Because of the shortage of money, there are still enterprises that do not have their road network. On the other hand, the city development is another restriction for industry agglomeration development. Necessary supporting infrastructure and living facilities are not sufficient. The enterprises do not invest. Good development space is the necessary factor for the future of industry agglomeration.The writer starts from the development situation of industry agglomeration in Zhengzhou, find out factors restricting the development of industry agglomeration, and give reasonable advices for its development. The government is supposed to give sufficient supports. Not only preferential policy of economic, but also the financing of enterprises. The government should focus on the enterprises, and do well in town planning. It must follow the construction of industry agglomeration areas and provide perfect Supporting infrastructure and living facilities. It needs to protect environment and save resources, thus give better development space for enterprises. From another point of view, the enterprise itself should adopt better management system, introduce and train outstanding staff, improve R & D capabilities, and do more oversea businesses. The government, enterprises, market are supposed to develop in coordination. As a result, the development of industry agglomeration in Zhengzhou can make further progress.
