On Independent Innovation And Development Of Zhongguancun

In the Fifth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth CPC Central Commit, the CPC has clearly pointed out that the concept of scientific development should be adopted to guide the overall economic and social development and it is essential to enhance our independent innovation ability. Enhancing our independent innovation ability has become the strategic points of our country's development of science and technology and the center part of readjusting the industrial structure and changing the mode of economic growth. How to further enhance their ability to innovate and promote China's economic and social development comprehensively has been addressed.The core issue of innovation is particularly presented in technological innovation. As the high-tech industrial base that is established earliest throughout the country, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Zone is always in a leading position in the field of China's high-tech innovations since 1980s, by its unique geographical advantages, solid economic foundation and intensive intellectual resources etc. This is inseparable from always adhering to the independent innovation. Therefore, it is extremely important to make in-depth investigation of Zhongguancun's independent innovative issue and upgrade Zhongguancun's innovative ability comprehensively. Independent innovation is a matter of system. The application of this theory is a process of live learning. It is of great benefit to use this theory to guide the development of Zhongguancun.This dissertation has elaborated on the theory of innovation and independent innovation. It has made researches on the concept, characteristics, content and other issues of innovation and explained the concept, characteristics, methods and conditions of independent innovation.It has also put forward the idea that independent innovation is a matter of system.
