The paper emphasizes on the project management as a management model and its uses in the knowledge team, not on the detailed project management.As we know, the project management provides powerful functions for modern enterprises management model; meanwhile, the Management By Project (MBP) is becoming the main direction of enterprises management development.Firstly, based on mentioned—above, the paper analyzed MBP's origin, development and uses, and the paper pointed out that MBP will become the leading management model of enterprises development.Secondly, the paper studied MBP of the knowledge team. I considered that the knowledge team with more projects, more professional skills, higher developments, higher the knowledge managements and so on , should adopt MBP as its management model.Thirdly, the paper took the emphasizes on how to establish and improve MBP of the knowledge team. I considered the establishment of MBP in the knowledge team is a system engineering, which is not only the readjustment of organization structure but also establishment of project management office (PMO). The establishment of MBP in the knowledge team needs advancement with plan, programme and step. The system thinking and psychological contracts are the fundamental base.Finally, the paper took Hoteamsoft as a case study. The paper gave the advises for the MBP establishment ofHoteamsoft as follows: MBP steps, schemes, choice of organization structure, encourage and payment system, and project management system. I believe the advisement would play the roles on the MBP of Hoteamsoft.
