Followed by summarizing the domestic and international research about service trade competitiveness and complementary cooperation of China and Japan and South Korea, and explains the research methods, the analytical frameworks, and the innovative and inadequacies of this article. The second chapter is the theoretical basis for this article. The economic analysis is inseparable from the support of the theory, and the theories included is as follows:regional integration theory, international trade theory, the applicability of comparative advantage theory for trade in services, and then leads to the porters "diamond model"-services trade competitiveness theory, which is generally accepted and applied in today’s research. The third chapter begins to enter the body part of this article. At first, it explains the development of service industry and the current cooperation situation in China, Japan and South Korea in details. Then, it makes a comparative analysis classified by industry, supplemented by a large number of data for reference, so that the dissertation is more rigorous. The fourth and the fifth chapter make an assistant analysis on the cooperation status about service trade in free trade zone, including the motivation of the cooperation and the problems and constraints encountered during the trilateral cooperation. The sixth chapter is the focus of this article, which makes an empirical analysis on service trade cooperation between China and Japan and South Korea by selecting RCA Index and trade complementarities index to do the quantitative analysis on the industry competitiveness and the degree of complementary between three countries. Because there are many factors to influence the analysis, so the resulting data may be slightly biased, which is also another deficiency of this article. The seventh chapter proposes some policy recommendations on trilateral cooperation according to the above analysis, aiming at enhancing the service trade exchanges and accelerating the building of free trade zone in China, Japan and South Korea.
