Under the socialism market economy, how to assure effectively farmers' income to increase continuously and steadily is an issue for discussion. In the market economic practice, the western countries gradually formed and consummated the theoretical and political system supporting fanners' income. Developing countries also accumulated rich experience and lessons. Some scholars and practical workers in our country studied and probed the question of increasing farmer's income from different points of view, and developed continuously the studying depth and scope, used richer studying methods. The problem of increasing farmers' income contains economic development, technical advance, system changes, industrial evolution, and so on. It is a systematical project related with theory and practice, history and reality, domestic and international situations. In the first place, the paper introduces the definition of farmers' income, gives the concrete definitions about total income and net income, and then summarizes the theory of farmers' income including developed countries and developing countries, at last gives some inspirations to resolve farmers' income of our country, increasing farmers' income needs stable capital source, farmer's systemization and law safeguard.Chapter two is the positive analysis about increasing farmers' income of our country.
