With the globlizatian of the economics of the world, enterprises are facing more and more fierce competition. Thus, to build a performance management system adapting to its own development and helping the employeres have better performances is to gurantee its overall profit as well as the core competition of the enterprises.DF is a manufacturing enterprise located in Chengdu, whose major outputs are electric power nonferrous metal products. Feeling the pressure of fierce competition nowadays home and abroad, DF is eager to meet the imperative of improving the overall efficiency of its company, thus creating a more prosperous future. This article mainly speads to they improvement of performance management systems in the DF corporation. With the end in mind of helping employers improve performance.Therefore, this article analyses the current situation of the performance management home and abroad by means of a questionaire investigation, business talk and working diary. In this article, I've collected a great deal of data abort the DF corporation structure, its human resource management and performance management, based on the diagram analysis, the basic statistical tool like EXCEL as well as the comparison of the new characteristic of this field home and abroad. This article gave a thorough explanation of DF performance management in recent years. At last, guided by the strategic performance management theory and the comprehensive comparison of the research outcome, I made a conclusion as to how to improve this from two aspects: choices of performance appraisal methods; and management system.In the first aspect, this article ruggested the DF corporation impuove its checd-up system by means of target management, Key Performance Index, and a comprehensive check-up system.In the Second aspect, the article designed a performance management model with its own characteristics. Also based on the theories said above, the article demonstrated the idea on the following four steps of performance management: Planning stage, Practice, evaluation and feedback.
