Six Sigma Management And Applied Research, Xae Company

In 1987, Motorola created a new kind of management method, Six Sigma, which has been successfully implemented by GE and Motorola and then by many famous companies followed by GE and Motorola. Can this method be used in Chinese companies? This thesis is to be discussing the implementation of six-sigma in China. Based on the theory of six-sigma and typical case, this thesis studies the implementation of six-sigma in XAE company. Firstly, this thesis, starting form reviewing the history of quality management, analyzes the background of six-sigma management, explains the concept, content, features, general index, structure, software used and implementation steps of six sigma; secondly, this thesis discusses the application of six sigma in details using A project as a example and analyzes the problems faced during implementation of six-sigma in XAE company as well as provides the solution method of the problems. At last, this thesis mentions explain the implementation condition and provides suggestions on implementation in China. This thesis can guide XAE and other companies to improve its quality management level.
