As the maturity of Internet and communications from the late of 20thcentury, the electronic commerce as a trading method attracts an increasingattention. Especially the Business to Customer (B2C) pattern of online storebuilds a convenient trading platform for both enterprises and individualcustomers. However, the development of logistics that can't be delivered byInternet lags behind other developed countries. Logistics has become thebottleneck of online store.The paper begins with the basic theories of modern logistics, seeking thefactors that have influences on the operation of logistics, through the specificoperation pattern and developing issues of online store, throughcomprehensively analyzing the logistics status quo from our country andabroad. It grips the distribution segment, the goal of cost control and serviceimprovement as "one body two sides" to elaborate deeply. It draws experiencefrom the traditional retailing industry to analyze it in detail in those aspects aslocation, scale, operation ideology, commodity type, and consumer culture.Moreover, it focuses on the feasibilities of the third party logistics, jointdistribution, and aligning with the traditional retailing industry. Cost controluses the Activity Based Costing (ABC method) of traditional accounting forreference. It provides some suggestions about cost control in both partly andwholly as well. As a concept of service, the improvement of logistics hasmuch in common with traditional service. Based on the things above,enterprises should focus on value-added services and the total benefits ofsupply chain.From the analysis and research of the paper, the ending puts forwardsome issues concerning with the logistics development of B2C online store,some relevant methods as well, especially the government support on policies,the regulations on this industry, and the improvement of consumers'consuming ideology.
