North International Logistics Limited Corporation (NILLC)is a traditional stateowned Logistics Corporation, whose main business is storing and transporting weapons and ammunitions for the armed forces.Its warehouses were built mainly for storing the dangerous goods of class No.1 and has strength in the storing of dangerous goods.Under the condition of drastic market competition,NILLC faces the demanding of reformation with the disappearing of its primary business advantage, NILLC must adjust its strategy and explore a new road to survive. In 2004, with the effection of surroundings, Dalian Railway substation canceled the Gezhenpu staion reserved for dangerous goods and looking for the campanion. NILLC gained the qualifications by its hardware scale advantage. The corporation set its strategy in building a morden chemical dangerous goods warehousing base and begins to settle the management problems in the process.In this thesis, through collecting the literature around warehouse mangement theory and connecting with the acturality of NILLC, the author brings up the reformation plan. Firstly, the thesis reforms the hardware so as to maps out the toatal warehousing area for dangerous goods according to present ability and rationalizes the storing way;designs a detailed workflow for new business against to old management way;brings forward a strict work management system for chemicals classification;leads into ISO quality management idea and connects the safe management system with a new designed warehouse management system on the basis of old one.Finally as a guarantee,strenghthens the morden logistics management idea and redesigns a new organization structure to adapt to the market;emphasizes on morden human resources training and knowledge management,thus the thesis forms a new set of warehouse management strategy exploring an effective way for the developing chemicals dangerous goods base of NILLC.
