Along with the development of globalization, the mode of management in themultinational companies gradually changes to horizontal integration. The theory ofsupply chain management supplied MNCs methods to adapt quickly to the changingdemand. The effective supply chain management could fully exploit corporations'core competences, improve and integrate different resources of enterprises. It couldprovide a method for the corporations to do a win-win business.The operation is a very important part of supply chain management theory. Howto persuade different companies cooperate with each other, how to share theinformation and distribute resources reasonably, how to build the supply chainstructure according to the core competences of corporations will determine thesuccess of supply chain management. Although there are different situations indifferent companies, we can use SCOR model to analyze the structure of supply chainand to give a good way of building up a supply chain.In 2005, the author had an opportunity to take part in an internal collateral supplychain project in a famous IT company. Along with what the author experienced, someproblems were found and some solutions were provided.Finally, the author draws conclusions and points out the limitations of this paperand the orientation of future research. |
