Study Of Reverse Logistics Inventory Decisions

Reverse logistics is a new research field .The word "Reverse logistics" was first proposed by Stock in a study report to CLM in 1992.Reverse logistics is beginning to be widely concerned by all countries as people are more concerned about environment and the enhancement of sustainable development strategy. However,reverse logistics management of our country is still a vacancy ,therefore ,reverse logistics of our country has a wide development space . Now ,the Central Government is vigorously sparkplugging to build an economy-type society .And reverse logistics ,which aims at recycle and recovery of resource ,plays an important role in realizing this goal .Under those backgrounds ,based on the present research and practical use related with reverse logistics ,this article has introduced and studied the related conceptions,forecasting of returned products and the inventory control of reverse logistics .Besides ,the article emphasizes on the improvement of an existing model of inventory control ,making it more practical . Several forecasting models in common use have been introduced ,and this article makes a detailed comparison and analysis on the particular applying situations of these models ,which is the basis of the following study on inventory control . In research of inventory control , this article first introduces an existing fixed period inventory control model ,and improvement has been made based on the analysis and study of above model ,which making it more practical . Also this article makes a comparison of this two models ,and the result shows the improving model is indeed more practical .
