With the enhancement of people’s awareness for the protection of the environment and the conservation of resources,and also driven by the level of service and the cost of the enterprise,reverse logistics has received increasing attention from companies.Among them,returns are a very normal business phenomenon in the manufacturing industry.However,with the the upgrade of technology,the increase in customer demand,and the gradual enrichment of social products,the number and the cost of goods returned has been increasing.This is an annoyance for enterprises but it is urgently needed to solve.The inventory control of reverse logistics has many uncertainties such as quality,quantity,and time of return products,which is more complicated than the inventory control of positive logistics.Inventory control can realize an effective monitoring and management of the company’s overall operations,to obtain greater economic benefits with smaller inventory costs,so a scientific inventory control method is required.Therefore,how to use returned products,to strengthen inventory control,reduce costs,and obtain benefits will be the content of this thesis.Under normal circumstances,the cost of purchasing new parts is much more expensive than repairing old parts,so use returned parts will bring a certain degree of economic benefits to the company.Therefore,this thesis believes that inventory control must be coordinated between manufacturing and remanufacturing.The fierce market competition makes H(Xiamen)Company’s operating costs continue to increase,which also forced the company to seek ways to reduce costsactively.The purpose of this thesis is to take the return-product reverse logistics into account in the H(Xiamen)company’s current inventory control system.Establish an inventory control model that combines with the remanufactured products,and calculate by scientific calculation methods,determine the economic processing batch and economic processing cycle and the order quantities and so on.Return products can use two methods of batch processing.The first one,based on quantitative treatment,that is,each time the return products accumulate to a certain number of units,it will be processed once.The second one is a time-based periodic processing,that is,whenever the return products are accumulate for a certain length of time,it will be processed once.The results of this thesis are expected to enable the H(Xiamen)company to reduce inventory costs to a greater extent and to have a better control in inventory. |
