Antidumping is one of the most important problems in our present foreign economic and trade work, our country has become the first antidumping targeted country for continuous 9 years in the world. In order to cope with antidumping, a general survey showed that there are advantages,disadvantages of and functions to trade and business associations in antidumping, and pointed out the presenting problems of associations in our country, and put forward detailed reform measures to associations, aiming at wishing trade and business associations would play more positive role in antidumping.The innovation of the article is that the disadvantages of associations are not ignored though there are many advantages of associations by analyzing some new materials and applying methods of comparison. In order to avoid losing the opportunity to get separated judgment and individual tax rate resulting from associations directly dealing with antidumping suits from foreign country, associations should avoid doing so and help member corporations defend individual market position.There are five parts in this article, details as follows: Part 1 :PreludeIn this part, it introduces and explains of some concepts of trade and business association, including its implication, classification and functions. Part 2: Analysis of advantages and disadvantages of associations The advantages of associations include information advantage, cost advantage, authority advantage, public relations advantage, personnel and technology advantage; meanwhile, there is a disadvantage, that is, associations directly dealing with antidumping suits from foreign country will lead our companies to lose the opportunity to get separated judgment and individual tax rate.Part 3:The current situation and existing problems of our associationsAt present, the current situation of our associations is very bad, such as "government and associations integration", many associations being regarded as "the second class government" and being very corrupt.Part 4: patterns, characteristics and experiences of western associationsIn this part, it introduces some development patterns and characteristics of associations in some developed countries, meanwhile, summarizes some good experience for our reference.Part 5:Reinforcing the functions to associationsIn this part, it brings out four topics: dealing with anti-dumping suits from foreign country, filing anti-dumping suit to other country, applying for "market economic country status" and forwarding good service for members.
