"One Way" Initiative And China 's New Strategy Of Foreign Direct Investment

Outward Foreign Direct Investment is an important way for a country to integrate into economic globalization. After the global financial crisis, China’s outward foreign direct investment has made considerable achievements, became the world’s second largest foreign direct investment powers, but China’s outward foreign direct investment is also facing many challenges."The Belt and Road " initiative as an important development strategy of China at the national level, not only involves a wide range and impacts a wide areas, but also has a very important significance in the country’s foreign economic cooperation and development, will inevitably have a profound impact on China’s outward foreign direct investment.This paper starts with China’s current outward foreign direct investment achievements and challenges, combining the specific contents of "the Belt and Road" initiative, explore the effects of "the Belt and Road " initiative on China’s outward foreign direct investments, and put forward new strategy concept to develop China’s outward foreign direct investment. We should stick to the strategy principle of discussing with others, co-construction and sharing the benefits with others. To achieve the strategy goal, the government should establish national OFDI strategies and implement various measures to support the development of China’s outward foreign direct investment. Many competitive multi-national corporates have to be built and improve their ability to run international business and resist external and domestic risks. Only all these strategies join up, can China achieve development and prosperity in the field of OFDI.
