With the further deepening of China’s opening up,the open economy has also made great strides.According to National Bureau of Statistics,OFDI in China reached 810.8 billion U.S.dollars in 2017,ranking the second in the world. The Chinese government has also promulgated relevant policies to promote the positive development. The "Belt and Road Initiative" has been effective for five years since it was put forward. The research of OFDI influencing factors under the Belt and Road Initiative is in keeping with the times and will also play an active role in the development of OFDI in various regions of China. This paper firstly introduces the "One Belt and One Road Initiative" and OFDI.It also focuses on reviewing relevant theories related to developing countries, especially China. Then it is about development history of China’s OFDI and the current situation. Also,a comparative analysis of OFDI in various regions is conducted. Then combined with the status above, based on the Gravity Model,we proposed possible influencing factors from the theoretical level. In the empirical part, the panel data of 31 provinces from 2008 to 2016 were selected to validate the theory-based assumptions through measurement and regression. The main conclusions include that there is a significant positive correlation between the OFDI and the province’s market size, export volume and labor costs. The One Belt and Road Initiative’s impact on OFDI along the inland areas is not significant. However, coastal area, significant. Finally, this paper combines the theoretical and empirical results, proposing inspired suggestion for future.
