Research On Tourism Development And Protection Of Jiaozhou Bay Coastal Zone Based On Action Network Theory

Tourism development and protection of the coastal zone, a special area of sea and land interaction, is of great significance for Jiaozhou Bay. The paper outlines the current status of tourism development and protection of coastal zone of Jiaozhou Bay, applies the actor-network theory to classify actors who are in the development and protection work, targets Red Island, Jiaozhou, and Laogang District as the main objects, and values the effects they have brought to the tourism of the Jiaozhou Bay coastal zone. It is important to improve the status of peasants, who are most vulnerable in Hong Island coastal tourism, protect their interests, and coordinate the actors interests and tourism objective together to build the Hong Island tourism brand. Jiaozhou government should continue to play its role of main actor, establish the tourism image, and use wetlands to construct ecotourism axis. And the Qingdao Port has been undergoing the transformation and updating by the coordination of actors, which is helpful to expand the market, build home-port, and promote the development of cruise travelling.Besides, the experience about coastal environmental protection, industrial development, and city planning, could be concluded via analyzing from the cases of San Francisco Bay, Tokyo Bay, Hangzhou Bay, and Yalong Bay. Jiazhou Bay could establish linkage mechanism and accelerate the adoption of mandatory points with the guidance of “Central Bay Development, Circle Bay Protection” policy. Paying attention to the benefits of non-human actors could secure eco interval to shape a space layout, which is global coordination, three-city linkage, shaft spreading, eco interval, and group development. Meanwhile, Qingdao Port could play its advantages fully in response to the call of industrial update, build a modern, professional, large-scale production pattern, construct the home port city around home port and tourist destination, and intensify environmental protection. Finally, accelerating the development of the Central Bay transportation system and building a fast, easy travel transportation network will improve the tourism system of Jiaozhou Bay.
