Vietnam Participates In Free Trade Agreement Since "innovation"

Vietnam as a friendly neighbor of China, in Southeast Asia also enjoys the important position. Since 1980s Vietnam was referred to as "Open Innovation" of the economic system reforms. The country’s participation in the course of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) began in the early 1990s. Vietnam through unremitting efforts, has been built for all-round, multi-angle network of FTA which has greatly promoted the economic development. In 2016, as the beginning of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP), the launch of the FTA status as gradually improved in the process of economic development in Vietnam. Therefore, in order to get more information of the Vietnam’s future economic development direction and Vietnam’s strategy of the country, paying more attention to Vietnam’s participate in FTA study is very necessary.On the basis of all studies of all kinds of literature, the author catching Vietnam’s domestic abroad background and the timing of participation in FTA. Through the Vietnam’s signing of FTA text analysis, I was trying su previous research results, and the current Vietnam Free Trade Zone to analyze the situation of Vietnam’s FTA. On this basis, combining with Vietnam’s statistics bureau and using the data of World Bank in Vietnam to analyzed the achievements and shortcomings of the FTA.The paper argues that Vietnam have been participating in the FTA because of the end of the Cold War, the international atmosphere, domestic situation. In other countries, the world economic integration and the southeast Asia economic integration trending greatly encourage the state to participate in the FTA. When Vietnam was forcing the domestic implementation of Open Innovation, and implementation of reform of agriculture, industry and the development of financial industry, to create the conditions for participation in the FTA. The expanding foreign trading and attracting foreign investment’s means worked, leading the international market into Vietnam. After joining ASEAN Free Trade Area in 1995 as a starting point, following the first depend on the Association of South-East Asian nations (ASEAN) framework, after an independent thinking and India, Australia, New Headland, China, South Korea and other countries signed Free Trade Agreements. Based on the related data of the 1990s Vietnam foreign trade analysis, the paper argues that Vietnam on the participation of the FTA is yielded fruitful results, but also show some shortcomings. On one hand, successfully improving that the imports and exports of Vietnam, expanded its export markets and improve the country’s export commodity structure; on the other hand the Vietnam have to face huge pressure to the trade balance. In the process of foreign trading is still mainly labor-intensive products including product structure, market development co., LTD., a typical problems such as excessive dependence on foreign trading.
