| Based on the analysis of the trade effects of the Vietnam-Korea Free Trade Agreement, this paper analyzes the current situation of trade development in Vietnam and Korea. The trade complementarity and trade potential of the two countries are quantitatively analyzed by using the trade complementarity theory and the gravity model theory, which provides the basis for the policy optimization.First of all, this paper introduces the development of bilateral trade between Vietnam and South Korea, respectively from the perspective of the historical background and the current situation of the development of trade relations between Vietnam and South Korea.Secondly, based on the theory of quantitative analysis of trade complementarity, this paper introduces the trade complementarity index, trade combination index,Index of Intra-industry Trade,Bruelhart marginal Index of Intra-industry Trade and so on through empirical analysis.Based on these data models, the trade complementarity between Vietnam and Korea is analyzed quantitatively. Finally, based on the gravity model, this paper analyzes the creative and transfer effects of free trade between Vietnam and Korea.Based on the two-paragraph analysis, both Vietnam and South Korea show strong data consistency in the two stages of trade transfer. The adjusted R2 value is less than 0.7,which indicates that the trade creation effect has strong characteristics and the trade transfer effect is not strong. At the end of the article, through the analysis of the benefit of bilateral trade between Vietnam and South Korea,we believe that the bilateral trade between Vietnam and Korea should be strengthened in the policy aspects: 1)in the industry development,we should accelerate the adjustment of industrial structure to achieve complementary advantages;2)to accelerate trade liberalization in trade liberalization;3)in trade development. On the other hand,we need to promote social development of culture, education, health care, sports, labor market and other undertakings. |
