Research On The Improvement Of Operation Process Of SG Chain Supermarket Distribution Center

With improvement of social productivity and increasing needs of people for material culture, chain operation supermarkets enter the life of people like mushrooms after rain. With continuous expansion of market, chain supermarkets are increased rapidly and logistics cost of such supermarkets accounts for increasing rate to total cost. Distribution center of chain supermarkets has become an important step for their operation. However, at present, distribu-tion center of chain supermarkets have a lot of problems, such as unreasonable operating process, extensive model of distribution and storage, impossible monitoring on distribution process and lagging level of intelligent informatization, all of which cause that distribution center cannot play its due roles fully. So, it is an urgent task for current chain supermarkets to apply modernized intelligent logistics technique to improve modernization, informatization and intelligence level of distribution center, the process of logistics operation and operating efficiency of logistics, reduce logistics cost and enhance process service of logistics to im-prove customer satisfaction. Based on above analysis, this paper studied management of dis-tribution center of chain supermarkets based on intelligent logistics technique, wishing to solve operation problem of traditional logistics distribution center with modernized intelligent logistics technique, reduce logistics cost of chain supermarkets and open another source of profits for them.Based on operation case of distribution center of SG Supermarket, this paper firstly adopted operation process chart and instructions to display and analyze current operating process of SG distribution center like taking goods, loading-unloading-transfer, storage, checking goods, order picking, replenishment, shipment and distributions, finding problems of distribution center of SG supermarket like low operating efficiency, not high service qual-ity, high logistics cost and low customer satisfaction. Then, targeted at these problems, this paper referred to successful experience of distribution center of chain supermarkets in devel-oped countries on application of intelligent logistics techniques, took actual situation and cur-rent operation of distribution center of SG Supermarket into account, applied RFID, EDI,GPS/GIS, EPR, EPC, POS, DW, Agent and other intelligent logistics techniques to opti-mize and improve the above eight processes, reduce unnecessary steps in each operation process and make each operation process to be scientific with the aid of ESIA analysis method. As a result, the operation of the whole distribution center will become more accurate, efficient and intelligent.This paper mainly studied the issue on how to improve current operation and existing problems of distribution center of SG Chain Supermarket and proposed some suggestions for distribution center of chain supermarkets to apply intelligent logistics technique to optimize operation process.
