Logistics distribution is the key link for operation, the fundament for chain supermarket, and also the core competitiveness of chain store. During the development of the logistics, joint distribution is an important achievement of the technological innovation in logistics and distribution management, and has been the important way for chain enterprises to intergrate their purchasing and distribution. With the opening of retail marker, the foreign large supermarkets are coming, and chain supermarket faces the severe challenge in Jiangsu.Now our country is transmitting from traditional logistics to modern logistics. The research on the joint distribution just stays on the first stage. We still cannot completely apply the developed countries’ joint distribution theory to our country’s practices. Especially when the chain enterprises grow up, they face the problem how to deal with their more and more commodity flow, and how to win within the competition. It is urgent for the chain enterprises to regular their logistics management, and look for the right distribution mode. The chain enterprises can use the joint distribution as a tool to optimize the resource, low the cost, improve the effectiveness, better the customer service, and win in the market competition.Firstly, this paper bases on the foreign and domestic research of joint distribution, and analyzes the formation, definition of joint distribution, concludes the different joint distribution modes according to different Profession. Secondly, this paper uses the correlative knowledge such as the logistics theory to analyze the formation of joint distribution network. Finally, this paper applies SuGuo chain enterprise as the business case. After learning about the actuality and problems lie in the SuGuo chain enterprise. According to its development strategy, from organizing system, network system, operating system, three aspect develops the joint distribution to SuGuo chain enterprise carrying out an exploration. And give some advices for forming the joint distribution system. This paper has theoretical significance and practice value for the development of joint distribution about our country’s chain enterprises.
