The Ecological Paradox Of Capital And The Construction Of Socialist Ecological Civilization With Chinese Characteristics

Capital is the most active factor of the modern economy and society. Since its birth, It promotes the process of human civilization development with unprecedented speed and greatly enriched the social material life of human beings. Capital has changed the relationship between man and nature, it makes the human from the fear of nature gradually to the use and conquest of nature. In the process of using and conquering nature, human has tasted the fruits of victory. But, Capital makes man and nature go to the opposite direction, predatory and wanton destruction of nature makes human have to face the unprecedented ecological crisis.From the middle of the nineteenth Century, the capital theory began to be divided into two sects:the Capital Theory of Western Economics and Marxian Capital Theory. Two different theories of capital have affirmed the positive role of capital,but Marx had been aware of the damage to the ecology of the capital. In 20 century, Cology Marxist excavated Marx ’ s theory of ecology from the perspective of the relationship between capital and ecology. It exposed the anti ecological nature of capital, revealed the historical inevitability of the capitalist ecological crisis.Although capital plays an enormous role in promoting the development of social economy, Its negative ecological effects are also obvious. as shown by the history of opening up and reform, the development of socialism needs capital, Ecological civilization construction needs capital. We must be careful with the Ecological paradox of capital, make use of its positive effects, reduce its negative effects, makes lucid waters and lush mountains become invaluable assets.In this paper, I used the method of text research combed the capital theory of Western Economics, Marxian Capital Theory and ecology Marxism theory. I have affirmed the contribution of capital to the development of mankind,also reveals the destruction of the ecological damage caused by capital, then endeavors to pose our own viewpoints on the issue. We must both use and control the capital,and the governments should change their functions, and realize the Supervision management through perfecting the legislation and enforcing the law strictly.
