| The tourism industry has been the pillar and driving force of the world economic development since the ninety’s of last century, and has maintained the position of the world’s largest industry.With the convenience of transportation and the conversion of people’s living concept, more and more people regard travel as a way to relieve stress. The development of tourism trade is the strategic objective of many countries,not only can increase foreign exchange earnings, but also can promote the development of other industries. China and Japan as Asia’s two largest tourism trading countries, in recent years, the entry and exit of tourists increased significantly, tourism trade of the two countries has developed rapidly. China and Japan are adjacent, there are a lot of similarities in culture and climate, but there are many differences in geography and tourism environment, tourism trade development is not the same.In this paper, the comparison between China and Japan’s international competitiveness of tourism trade,through the competitiveness index,using of Porter’s "Diamond Model" of the four elements and auxiliary elements to analyzing, including the factors of production, domestic demand factors, support and related industries to develop and enterprise strategy and the competitive factors. China’s tourism trade and Japan’s tourism trade has their own advantages and disadvantages,.China can learn the experience from Japan’s tourism development, strengthening regional cooperation,improving the social security system and other measures,to enhance the international competitiveness of tourism trade and make the Chinese tourism trade has more competitive advantages. |
