Study On The Influence Of FDI On The Upgrading Of Manufacturing Industry In Jiangsu Province

Under the background of globalization, the 2008 international financial crisis has made a major adjustment on global industrial competition, the developed countries to carry out the strategy of "industrialization", reshape the new manufacturing competitive advantage, accelerate new pattern of a new round of global trade and investment. The economic development of our country enters the new normal, manufacturing development faces new challenges, in March 2015, China issued the "made in China 2025" development strategy, put forward the demand of the manufacturing powerhouse, transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry is an important task of the current China’s economic development. As the degree of internationalization, China’s foreign trade development is faster, the size and quality of FDI has been greatly improved.The use of FDI greatly promoted the economic development and industrial structure adjustment of our country. Since 1978, our country to attract a large of FDI flows into the second industry in the manufacturing industry, FDI inflows to the optimization of the manufacturing structure is very important. As China‵s big economy province, jiangsu province has been attracting foreign investment, as the eastern coastal city, Jiangsu Province introduce a large number of FDI relying on a good economic foundation and the superior geographical position, as the growth of the total investment and improve the quality of our foreign investment, the economic of jiangsu province has development rapidly, manufacturing industry structure optimized constantly. In this paper, taking jiangsu province as the research object, analyzes the FDI impact on jiangsu province manufacturing industry structure upgrade, and hope that through this research can play a good reference for other provinces or the whole country.This paper first introduces FDI on structure upgrading of industrial structure and manufacturing related theory and the mechanism of action, on the basis of further perfected the relevance of the theory and manufacturing industry structure upgrade. And then through the use of data descriptive analysis the present situation of jiangsu manufacturing industry, the foreign direct investment, and according to the actual situation of jiangsu province analyzed how to through the introduction of foreign capital to promote the upgrading of the manufacturing industry structure. Then by using the method of empirical analysis to tests the foreign influence on manufacturing structure of jiangsu province, came to the conclusion that FDI can promote jiangsu province manufacturing industry structure upgrade. Finally based on above theoretical and empirical analysis of the underlying problem, put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.Based on big background of our country put forward the development strategy of "made in China 2025",using the latest data by descriptive analysis and empirical analysis method, to analyze the role of FDI to the transformation and upgrading of industry structure in jiangsu province, in the current has important theory significance and practical significance.
