| Jiangsu stainless steel industry had been got rapid development in a few decades, it hold the domestic market share, and it showed the gradually expanded development trend.Under the guidance of local government departments,Jiangsu province planed and established a stainless steel industry cluster named "Trillion Yuan". At present, the industrial cluster has been formed the scale preliminarily. However, the export proportion of Jiangsu stainless steel products remained at a very low level. Compared with some main stainless steel enterprises in the international market, competitiveness of Jiangsu stainless steel industry is relatively low since a long time.This paper based on understanding the overall situation of stainless steel industry in the world and our country, it studied the development process and international competitiveness of Jiangsu stainless steel industry. From the perspective of government management, it analyzed the main influence factors of international competitiveness of Jiangsu stainless steel industry.These government factors included both internal system of industrial cluster and external development environment of industrial cluster. To enhance the international competitiveness of Jiangsu stainless steel industry, this paper puts forward some specific policy measures and suggestions for the influence factors. The policies and suggestions are based on the local government. They can be thought the reference of the relevant government in the following respects:perfecting scientific and reasonable industrial policy in the future, adjusting current export structure of stainless steel products, improving international competitiveness of local stainless steel industry, implementing development strategy of globalization and so on.. |
