| Yunnan is located in the southwest of China, which is a less developed province with typical plateau mountainous terrain, rich natural resources, and different nationalities. Since the establishment of People’s Republic of China, especially since the reform and opening up, the economic and social undertakings of Yunnan have made great progress, but there still exists big gap with coastal developed areas, the central provinces, and even some of the western regions. Development is of overriding importance, Yunnan must rely on the development to narrow the regional gap and solve the development problems. This paper begins with the background of putting forward Yunnan’s great-leap-forward development, which analyses and summarizes the theoretical results of great-leap-forward development for Searching theoretical basis for the great-leap-forward development of Yunnan. Through deeply analyzing those countries and regions which have realized great-leap-forward development and the effective measures they have taken in the course of great-leap-forward development, the author summarizes some useful experience, and Yunnan can use this experience for future reference. Meanwhile, the author scientifically defines the goal of Yunnan to achieve great-leap-forward development, and objectively analyzes current situation of economic development and the limiting factors and advantages of Yunnan’s economic great-leap-forward development. Finally, Based on the above analysis and combined with the reality of Yunnan, as well as the relevant policies and measures formulated by our nation and Yunnan Province, and from the following aspects of Strengthening the opening up and cooperation, fostering the power of economic development, improving the development of the environment, and Coordinating the regional development, the author puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of Yunnan to achieve great-leap-forward development. |
