A Study On The Factors Affecting The Intellectual Property Ability Of Chinese Enterprises And The Way To Improve

First, this paper makes a theoretical analysis for the impact factors of enterprises’ intellectual property capabilities based on the current status of China and raises the research hypotheses. Then this paper gives an empirical analysis using structural equation model. The research shows: IP investment and IP institution building have a significant positive impact to enhance enterprises’ intellectual property capabilities. IP organization and personnel, and IP external environment would make an influence under certain conditions. However, under the current level of economic development, IP external environment has no significant effect on intellectual property capabilities. Finally, after analyzing the ascension path of Chinese enterprises’ intellectual property capabilities and combining with the useful experience of developed countries, this paper proposes suggestions for the improvement of Chinese enterprises’ intellectual property capabilities from both internal and external aspects.
