In recent years, it has become a worldwide trend that modern science and technology largely based on IT has deeply permeated into the commercial circulation .The use of modern information technology has become the core of technological progress, which attracts great attention in the fields of business, technology and industry . Agricultural and sideline products wholesale market information system is supported by the National Development and Reform Commission of China as one of major construction projects among agricultural product wholesale markets ,and the system aims to build electronic monitoring center, electronic clearing house, information dissemination center, counseling center and vegetable quote scenter and pesticide residue testing center, a full range of customer service, and to create "reassuring market" to promote the distribution of agricultural products among the local and neighbouring districts.The system adopts the widespread international practice of a membership management, front-real-time networked electronic scales, e-money transactions by means of IC card in the creation of internal management and supplier management, while stressing various analysis of transactions, flows and sources in order to establish fast and accurate electronic settlement system, implement a unified electronic trading settlement management, and establish an image of modern standard market management so as to improve corporate integrity. The system consists of several subsystems whose functions range from basic information management to the wholesale trade in all business process management as well as operating analysis and decision support. Agricultural and sideline products wholesale electronic trading settlement system (STA) utilizes the overall design in the system structure, and multi-subsystem operations in a flexible manner. By more than 10 subsystems to run concurrently , the management of commercial enterprise logistics, information flow, capital flow and synchronically fast flow analysis and decision management are completed. The use of modern information technology helps enterprises to implement its enterprise resources planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), supplier relationship management (SRM) and business intelligence analysis (BI) in order to promote enterprise restructuring, business process optimization and, thereby enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.The system is programmed in Delphi6.0, with windows2000/xp as the operating system, Oracle as back-end database; the selection of LINUX system is bound to improve system security and reliability and efficiency. Database platform uses a large relational database,which has strong processing capability and a high data security.
