Face the reality of growing air pollution, scientists have struggled to find a kind of air pollution can simulate the method or tool used to simulate the analysis of air pollution in order to improve the effectiveness of air pollution control and let the public know their Air quality living environment. Therefore, the air quality model development and research are became scientists study the world's hot spots.Currently the most advanced model of the air quality in the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed a third generation air quality model Models-3/CMAQ, its core is CMAQ (Community Multiscale Air Quality), also known as the CMAQ model. As the model input data mesoscale meteorological model MM5 and SMOKE emissions model output data providers, so the complete system consists of air quality model CMAQ/MM5/SMOKE composition. Released from the CMAQ model has been widely used. However, its installation and data simulation runs were conducted in a character interface, and to bring unimaginable difficulties the general researcher. To solve this problem, this paper present the most popular Linux software interface development Qt, the secondary development of the model system, which greatly facilitates the use and operation of the user. Finally, visual interface Xi'an weather conditions were simulated result is consistent with the actual meteorological trend.This machine achieved the air quality model cluster operating environment design and build, and analyze the pattern in the cluster environment is running. Use of software under development in Fedora 12 Qt4.6 on the air quality model MM5\SMOKE\CMAQ for graphical integrated system._The main work of this paper are:1.Introduced MM5\SMOKE\CMAQ model and the environment to build these models. This paper introduced the framework of the model and summarized the modification approach of the model configuration file.2.Improved the complicated installation and operation process with the help of GUI developing tool.3.Air quality model for the installation and operation of complex processes, use of graphical interface development tools has been improved in this model, the completion of the air quality model system, visual development, to achieve the overall system intelligence. 4. Numerical simulation using MM5 mesoscale system modules, to simulate three-dimensional meteorological fields in Xi'an. The results show consistent trends and the actual weather. The entire model system for the application to simulate the air quality in Xi'an work laid a foundation.
