Laser-guided technology gives the modern weapons the capability of accurately attack, it is often able to play a vital role in the war. Thus it is particularly important to study how to interfere with laser-guided weapons, which can distinctly weaken the enemy's attack. Laser-guided weapon acts accurately and promptly, which requires laser jamming devices could complete the laser-guided pulse signal processing in a very short period of time to achieve the goal of interference and countermeasure. There are various kinds of laser jamming method, which is divided into active jamming and passive jamming. The laser-induced deflection of the active jamming is mainly discussed in this thesis.First of all, the principles of the laser-guided and laser-induced deflection as well as the traditional laser-guided signal encoding method are introduced; secondly, the identifying algorithm of the single periodic code and the deinterleaving algorithm of the multi-periodic code are analyzed. For the single pseudo-random code, according to the traditional recognition algorithm, an improved implementation algorithm is proposed, and the experimental result is achieved; thirdly, complete the scheme design of the laser-induced deflection system, describe the overall scheme and the hardware and software principle of the subsystems which are involved in this thesis as well as the system interface synchronization protocol; then focus on the completion of the design and implementation of signal processing of the laser induced deflection system, choose the Xilinx XC4VLX40 chip of the Virtex4 series as the signal processing hardware platform. Implement the signal processing module of the master control machine of the induced system, the interface module to the front-end alarm device, the interface module to the back-end laser bait machine and the interface module to the PC with the FPGA design, and use Visual Studio 2008 to develop of a PC display and control software, which can configure the alarm devices on the front end, the master control machine, the back-end laser bait machine, and it can display the real-time status of the system. Finally, the induced deflection system was tested and the results were analyzed, including the Modelsim simulation test and the corresponding functional tests of the various parts on the evaluation board. Through the signal processing of the master control machine, it can accurately identify the laser warning pulse from the front-end and control the back-end laser bait machines to launch the induced pulses to achieve the desired objectives in laboratory conditions.
