Vocational Colleges Warehouse Material Management System Design And Realization

With the rapid development of the information industry, computers are becoming more and more popularized in all trades, as a result, database management systems are increasingly applied to transaction processing. In expanding colleges and universities materials management turns more complex, numerous amount of information needs to be dealt with, while the inefficient traditional warehouse materials management, with lots of procedures more than what is due, can not meet the requirements of the fast development of universities. Basing on our college management reform and experience, the writer, using the theory of modern materials management and software design, tries to explore a set of applied method and theory of information management,and develops such a set of software, applicable in college storehouse materials management.This paper systematically introduces a modern theory and method of materials managements, and by means of analyzing the weaknesses and strong points of the already existing system and summing up experiences, puts forward a new division of functional modules. This software creates data tables to store backstage data in accordance with the requirements of functional modules, utilizes Visual C + + to open up the front interface, and making use of VC + + database access technology to complement the technical connectivity, brings about the whole functions of the system management.This warehouse materials management system was born under the guidance of object-oriented design theory, basing on Visual C + + and SQL Server 2000. The object-oriented technology reduces communication barriers, improves development productivity, and enhances system security. The three-tier software theory achieves separate functions of the data layer, logic layer and interface layer, foreshadowing further functional and technical upgrading.The system bases itself upon the warehouse materials management of Shandong Vocational College of Industry, tries to solve common problems existing in college materials management, is then expected to be applicable and beneficial.
