With the rapid development of electronic technology, electric field measurement becomes more and more important. Electric filed sensor which has been widely used in many areas is a key component of electric field measurement. Integrate optical electric field sensor relative to the traditional in terms of the electric field sensor has a small size, wide bandwidth, the advantages of anti-interference ability. Wavelet algorithm as a new branch of mathematics is widely used in image compression, signal denoising, adaptive filtering and numerical analysis. It has unparalleled advantages compares of Fourier transform. The main work is provided as follows:1. Determine best decomposition level and best wavelet function under MATLAB based on the application background;2. Design hardware system based on TMS320VC5509A;3. Design software in the CCS development environment. Propose a new method of convolution for the A'trous Algorithm.4. Verify the system in the real experiment environment. Experiment result shows that the wavelet denoising is obviously reducing the noise of integrate optical electric field sensor's signal. Using DSP for signal processing is also effective.
