Smip-aaa-based Technology Research And Application Of Operations At Sea Communications

With the rapid development of economic, the exploitation of the sea has become more and more in-depth. The area of offshore operation has expanded and it increased the requirement of the communication .There is a large amounts of data needed to transmit in the communication of offshore operation now and all-IP technology has become the trend. Mobile IP is an important part of the all-IP communication and its safe problem has aroused people's attention.First, the communication of offshore operation was introduced and it also introduced the mobile IP and AAA technology which the communications of offshore operation demand.The communication of offshore operation's mobile IP mode and security requirement was analysed, and made the IETF's mobile IP AAA mode as its operation prototype, and found two important problems. One was authentication and registration of the mobile node and the other one was the safe communication when the mobile IP network has established. An improved scheme of SMIP-AAA was putted forward to solve those problems by analyzing the mobile IP AAA mode. The scheme could ensure the safety and efficiency by improving the message which transferred among the communication process and the authentication and registration which begun at the same time in the mobile IP registration; Because of the security association of AAA was built on shared key and it was easily to be attacked. So when it has registered, we have taken periodically update the security association key; we used the message when the nodes registered and established a dedicated communication tunnel to protected the nodes and home agents in the mobile communication. Second, based on Open Diameter open source to initial realization of the SMIP-AAA scheme .Finally, OPNET network simulation software was used to simulation verification and analysis.The scheme of SMIP-AAA for the mobile IP communication in the environment of offshore operation could resolve the problem of mobile IP communication that we have proposed in the environment, and it could meet the mobile communication of offshore operation demand.
