Based On The Wimax Video Surveillance System Design And Implementation

With the improvement of wireless communication technology, people benefit from convenience of Wireless network of the IEEE802.11 specification application, which stimulates the demand of wireless communication products. As a bandwidth wireless connection technology, WiMAX wins the favor for its long transmission distance, be facilitating to maintain and upgrades and high-speed bi-directional data transmission, provides a good solution to wireless video monitoring.This thesis puts forward a solution to video monitoring system based WiMAX technology. Firstly, the generation, the standards, the important technologies, the network configurations and air interface specifications of WiMAX technology are analysed. Why we use WiMAX technology in the wireless video monitoring system is presented. In addition, the paper gives the requirement analysis and design scheme of wireless video monitoring system of a Huzhou middle school. The wireless video monitoring system is divided to three parts as video collection subsystem, network transport subsystem and monitoring center subsystem. Then the detail design of each subsystem is given and the issue of the selection and technology of video compression standard are discussed. Meanwhile, the thesis presents the detail of network configuration system of network transmission system, discusses the construction of WiMAX Base Site and terminal, and determines network transmission mechanism suited to transmission speed. In the finally, a solution to video monitoring software implementation is presented by JMF technology and a performance evaluation of the system is given.The whole system with a good result of stable performance meets the design requirements. The system with the functions of monitoring, alarming, video information storing and playback plays a good role in ensuring the safety of schools, reducing the workload of security personnel and labor intensity and improving the work efficiency.
