FPGA got rapid development since its birth; it has become one of the most popular implementation media for digital circuit. It has been widely used on so many areas such as aerospace, medical equipment and industrial control which has embody the important position of FPGA in the integrated circuit.In this thesis we aim at exploring a space of architectures and designing a FPGA device according to acquired architecture parameters, Provide reference for Million Gate Anti-radiation FPGA chips which are designed for research office. Main research works and conclusions show below:1. According to research of FPGA product of those company-Xilinx, Altera, Actel , the overall structure of this design is determined; logical unit use units based on LUT, routing architecture use symmetrical array structure.2. Research logical unit architecture and routing architecture. According to analyze of LUT's logical delay and space utilization rate of different K value, finally used LUT logical unit with 4 inputs. Through the research to three routing architecture of FPGA, considering the routing success rate and routing resources occupancy rate, we chose isolated-island routing architecture.3. After theoretical analysis of FPGA's working principle and sub module design, illustrate the schematic and use Spectre to do simulation verification for the chip's sub module and overall functions. According to the simulation, it is been proved that chip is greatly satisfied with design objective.4. Based on schematic, using SMIC 0.35 technology design layout and using Calibre to do DRC checking and LVS checking of layout.
