With the continuous development of wireless communications, broadband RF front-end has been widely used in various wireless communication products. As a key module of the receiver front-end, low-noise amplifier plays a decisive impact on various technical indicators of the whole system. At first, the basic principles of several common receiver are analyzed. Secondly, the characteristics and the main performance parameters of various structural are introduced in this paper. Then, the system's indicators is planned according to the requirements of the subject, and the feasibility is justified. The key indicators in the receiver are simulated and verified by using Advanced Design System 2009. The broadband RF front-end's design methods and steps are described. At last, a fixed IF superheterodyne receiver is designed by the use of twice frequency conversion method through the design, production, selection, debugging and system joint debugging of the various modules, in the frequency range of 200MHz-3200MHz. It is mainly constituted by low–noise amplifier, power amplifier, mixer, filter and numerically controlled attenuator. A broadband RF front-end, which provided universal, standardized, modular is presented, and the predestinate indicators of the subject has been reached.Broadband low-noise amplifier plays a very important role in the implementation of the system, as the key components of receiver RF front-end. To achieve broadband matching is the difficulty of its design. The basic theories of low-noise amplifier and broadband design method are described in this paper. Two types of broadband low-noise amplifier have been developed using the negative feedback techniques and the lossy matching technology. After debugging, the LNA achieved a maximum noise figure F of 2dB, a gain of 28±3.5dB and 26.6±2dB respectively. The test results meets the needs of the subject.
