Communication integrated power monitoring system is referred as the implementation of centralized supervisory control system towards communication power equipments, computer room air conditioner and computer room environment. The SC - SU - SM three-tier monitoring structure in hierarchical tandem, applied in the main architecture of integrated power monitoring system in Baoding Netcom Company, applies the fiber MSTP multi-service transfer platform as the main network transmission support, to achieve the monitoring data transmission, also the environmental video monitoring transmission. The system is able to achieve three-tele functions: telemetry, remote communication and remote control. The integrated monitoring of the modern communication power is realized completely.My paper mainly talks about the design and implementation upon the architecture of a whole set of integrated power monitoring system. I introduce the design plan of communication integrates power monitoring system at first, and then analyze and prove the principles and the characteristics of the different architecture plans of the monitoring system, to realize the design of the general system architecture on the whole. The monitoring system boasts tri-level structure: regional monitoring center (also known as monitoring center SC), monitoring unit SS designed by each bureau or station independently, pre-monitoring unit of each bureau or station (also known as monitoring module SM). Fiber MSTP multi-service transfer platform is applied as the backbone transmission between SC and SS, and the transmission channel is E1. SS and SM are connected by the field buses, such as RS-485/422, RS-232 and so on.The hardware design part focuses on the monitoring plan design of the monitoring center SC in the bureau or center. The first level is the front end computer, the pre-monitoring unit CPU of which uses the H8S/2194MCU of the Hitachi Ltd., an excellent 16-bit singlechip with strong I/0 functions. The second level is the host computer, which uses the industrial computer to achieve the control of hardware and the data transmission of monitoring center. The secondary management model of decentralization and centralization improves the stability and reliability of the system.The software design part adopts the modular software design thoughts, and demonstrates the main frame flow chart of pre-monitoring software and monitoring management software. Through continuous cycle detection, the software realizes the real-time monitoring of the power equipments.
