The portal system is a web application which is popular in recent years, the new information practice and research field of web information system. It provides users with a broad wealth of information resources and a wide range of services with an integrated way,so that users can get information on "one-website".With the promotion of the construction of digital information, the maturity of the portal technology, the portal system popularizes at home. Some companies began to build their own portal, so that more customers quickly and easily understand the business. With the Digital Campus building, the portal system enters the field of education to integrate and combine the websites which have different structure, so that teachers and students easily access to required systems through a single sign-on.The portal brings a new experience to users, and, users put forward higher individualized demand too. They can not only read website's content, but also become the editors of websites at the same time. They can change websites according to one's own demand, for example they can design the interface, add the new content. This makes website become to regard "user" as the centre while regarding "webpage" as the centre before, provide the personalized service for users, develop towards higher level of the network service. In digitized construction of campus, the portal still concentrate websites on integrate mainly even.Every portal platform manufacturer upgrade their own portal platform to meet users'individualized demand, Microsoft has developed their own Micosoft Office SharePoint Portal Server (MOSS) which can realize the individualized interfaces, as well as IBM's WebSphere Portal Server portal platform. In addition, with the development of the data mining in the web field, web developers use data mining techniques to analyze users' visit information ,to find the user's access patterns to predict the users'the next operation, and to provide users with personalized services or individualized recommendation become a web-based hot spot.In this thesis, data access component and exception capture component were designed by using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 as a portal development platform, Visual Studio.Net as a development tool,which is to complement the development of personalized Web Part and develop the Chongqing University's digitized information portal. Developing the personalized web part, and designing master pages is to reach the user's needs of customizing personalized interface. In addition, this thesis studied the relevant technologies of data mining, web usage mining process and application, Based on the project ,the user identification and session identification were improved; the traversing path tree structure was proposed, for the improvement of the user access pattern mining.Tested the personalized recommendation feature by useing the users'historical access records.
