The Web-based Library Management System Design And Realization

With the rapid development of computer and network technology, internet and intranet are taking a more and more important role in the world. Today's society is rapidly advancing to the information society. However,the major library management software is produced from the traditional record of data and to replace the manual entry only.These software is so fragile when faced to the internet economy era ,which the internet and e-commerce develop rapidly. Therefore, the development of WEB-based library management system which can adapt to the society's needs becomes a top priority.This content describes the whole process about how to develop and design the web-based library management system that use ASP language , SQL Server database and B/S model(the browser/server architecture). The main features of this system includes the displaying and searching of book information, the notification of system , the author feedback and recent procession show, the user registration and sign in , the user's personal information, library use and book shopping management, Book information adding, editting, classifying management,the basic information set of system,and the view about system data.The main innovation in the design includes the book shopping and management functions for library system to adapt to the modern society need ,the comment function in each book's display page and the much perfect data statistic such as stock data in the back of the system.
