University Teaching Material Management System Design And Implementation

The information ization and the automation of the educational management are the key points of modern education development, and they play an active role in promoting teaching reform and advancing management efficiency. Teaching management is also the core of the educational management. The information ization, automation and regularization of the teaching management can divide teaching management from trivial routines and emphasize the management jobs.Teaching material management is a part of the teaching management. Due to the increase of students, the detailed major classification and the diversification of the teaching materials, the teaching management affair becomes more and more complicated. So a set of management system matching with the elective system should be developed urgently.The design of this system realizes teaching material ordering, teaching material delivering and stock management in the teaching material management.This system adopts a combination of B/S (Browser / Server) mode with C/S (Clients side / Server side) mode and a three-layer structure (presentation layer / business logic layer / data visiting layer). Windows Server 2003, WEB Server IIS6.0, SQL SERVER2005, Visual Studio 2008, and C#2.0 are used in this system.
