Along with the development of technology, the hospital is trying to introduce more advanced facilities to diagnose and treat the patient. Now China has the capability to produce the advanced medical facilities by ourselves, but we are still lack of high quality software. The weakness of development technology is the key problem to us for the application of 3D medical images processing and analyzing toolkit in the hospitals except the shortage of fund. The thesis here is to study how to use the advanced technology of 3D medical images processing and analyzing toolkit MITK to realize the 3D reconstruction work in Yangpu Hospital based on its current situations.Our target is to apply MITK based on current system platform and make them run together. By buliding the infrastructural facilities of this toolkit, and disigning and studying different arithmetic modules, such as surface rendering, volume rendering, 3D widgets, registration and segmentation, by applying Dicom and 3D Med to the system, to realize the 3D medical images processing and analyzing , storage and transmitting of medical images and diagnosis data in Yangpu Hospital. Finally to provide a direct-viewing and easy-to-use assistant tool for exact diagnosis. The main content including:I. The analysis of current application status of medical images processing system at home and abroad.II. The demand analysis of 3D medical images processing system in the hospical at home and abroad.III. The study and realization of system.IV. Design an applicable 3D medical images processing system for Yangpu HospitalV. Result presenting after system application.
