In the current C-band satellite communication applications, usually added one band pass filter with wally stop-band attenuation characteristic between the satellite receiving antenna and LNB (low-noise down converter) to suppress the microwave interference and pulse interference at the receiving end, band-pass filter's performance direct impact on the overall performance of the receiver. Meanwhile, in order to match the system installation, the filter length are subject to limitations. How to design a compact and superior performance filter is the focus of this pape.Filter designed in this paper uses the structure of interdigital filter and waveguide integrated manner, product features compact structure and novel design ; After in-depth studying the interdigital rectangular pole band-pass filter design methods, refering to application of traditional design and using advanced simulation software Ansoft Dersinger and HFSS combination method, designer did the product modeling, simulation, optimization design,extracted out the design parameters and complete the debugging process step by step.In this paper, the design process, not only from a theoretical research perspective, but also from the perspective of the project, combining the traditional theory of research methods and advanced electromagnetic simulation tool, summed up a viable and efficient C-band satellite communications launch suppression filter design method, greatly reducing product design cycle, saving design costs, and significantly improve product design and processing accuracy, as well as product yield.
