Microwave BPF (Band Pass Filter) is a kind of very important component and has been developing greatly in late years. The BPF' s performance will directly influence the microwave system. The microwave engineers at home and abroad have had much interest in microwave BPF' s theory, design methods and configuration forms, and have made a lot of research. This paper analyzed two-port network of filters theorically, studied the basic principle of filters, the transition of Low Pass to Band Pass, the transmission line structure of filters. We developed an end-couple BPF, a half-wavelength resonator BPF, a slow-wave BPF, a hair-pin line BPF, an interdigital BPF using the traditional thin film technology. According to the need in a double-base radar system, we also developed a miniaturized BPF by means of the advanced, LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology.The parameter curves and data of all the BPFs we made are basically corresponded with the software simulation results. |
